Keep in touch with us for details about the upcoming 2024 Miami Book Fair
November 22, 23, and 24.
Miami Book Fair details.
Join us or visit our booth at the Miami Book Fair Street Fair, the weekend of November 22-23-24th.

I urge you to go to the Miami Book Fair website at the link above. The Fairgoers’ Guide is available for review or downloading.

We do not have our booth number yet. I won’t get that until Thursday, November 21, when I go to sign in. I do have the location, though. Our booth will be located in Section C, which is on N.E. 2nd Avenue, between 4th and 5th Streets, just inside the Red Entrance on N.E. 2nd Avenue @ 5th Street. There is also free parking right there at the M-D Wolfson Parking garage, 500 N.E. 2nd Avenue from Sunday, from Sunday November 13 to Sunday, November 20. Entrance on N.E. 5th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. However, parking might be full. (I recommend you take Metrorail if possible. Get off at Government Center station and use the free People Mover’s Inner Loop to go to either College North, or College Bayside.)

The whole downtown area of several blocks will be closed off to vehicles from Friday morning though Sunday evening.

Friday is a free entry day. The Fair charges $12.00 for a single day entry on Saturday or Sunday, with Seniors at $7.00 and teens @ $5.00. If you plan to be there both Saturday and Sunday, you can get a multi-day ticket for $18, for adults, $12 for seniors, and $8 for teens. (Under 12 is free.)
Neil Crabtree and I will have the booth set up by Thursday afternoon.
If you have books you would like to sell at our booth, you can simply bring them to the booth on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I ask that you try to pick up any unsold books by Sunday afternoon. We start closing up the booth about 5 on Sunday because we’ll be back on Standard Time by then and it will start getting dark.

You can also drop your books off at my home, 8390 S.W. 122nd Street, Miami. Just about a block off the busway. You can call or text me to arrange it so I know to expect you. Make sure you also give me your contact information and the price you want your books sold at, and if they are for sale. (Some members don’t want their books sold because they want them on display for the thousands of fairgoers who will be passing by.

If you were unable to reserve a table (or simply didn’t want to commit for a 2 hour slot) remember that you can still show up at the booth at any time with your books and stay for a while to sell them. We appreciate volunteers, and even if you don’t have a book to sell, our booth is a great place where you can engage with fairgoers about what they’re reading, get ideas for your next project and maybe find a beta reader for your current or next project.

See you at the Fair!
